Horton Lands on Phil Steele’s Preseason All-American Team

11 players named to Steele’s preseason all-conference team
FORT COLLINS – A preseason college football magazine that's been in production for 30 years, Phil Steel's College Football Preview has Biletnikoff Award front-runner Tory Horton on the preseason All-American second team.
Horton, who was on the Fred Biletnikoff Award Watch List a season ago as one of the nation's top wide receivers, led Colorado State in 2023 with 96 receptions for 1,136 yards and eight touchdowns. The wideout averaged 94.7 yards per game, which was good enough for second in the Mountain West.
The graduate will look to finish his collegiate career as a three-time All-Mountain West honoree and gain more national attention as the best wide receiver in the country.
Steele also announced his 2024 Preseason All-Mountain West/PAC-2 teams.
