Two Rams go yard in Sunday loss
New Mexico State – 7, Colorado State - 4
- The Rams held off the Aggie bats through the first five innings, heading into the bottom of the sixth inning in a tie ball game, but a late game surge from New Mexico State game put the game just out of reach for CSU.
- Jordan West led the Rams offensively going 2-3 at the plate.
- Freshman Kyra Smith tied the game in the sixth inning with her first career home run, also achieving the feat on her birthday.
- Abby Edwards also notched her first career home run in a Ram uniform with a solo shot in the seventh inning.
