Rams take down Lions in four sets
FORT COLLINS – The Colorado State volleyball team took down East Texas A&M in four sets Thursday night, returning to Moby Arena with a win after a 2-2 week on the road last week.

- The Rams come out swinging in the first two sets against the Lions. Setter Erin Debiec ran the offense for an impressive hitting percentage of .455 in the first and .563 in the second. Debiec had two kills of her own as well.
- Kekua Richards, Maria Brun and Halle Jameson added three kills of their own in the first frame followed by two from Brenna Rowland and one from both Eve Wilson and Brooke Holman.
- Colorado State added 18 kills in the second set with additional assistance from Zosia Szczotkiewicz at setter in the 6-2 look. Wilson added six kills, followed by Brun with five. Jazen Debina, Rowland and Jameson each added two to the board and Richards tallied one.
- East Texas A&M took set three with an average hitting percentage of .412, Colorado State killed .256, a major change from the first two frames as the Lions seemed to breathe life back into their game.
- Rams were able to hold their own in the fourth and final set, holding the Lions to only 10 points and finishing the match with a kill from Richards.
- Brun finished the night leading the team in aces and kills with four and 14, respectively. Jameson and Richards ended with 11 kills.
- Reigning Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week, Richards, ended the match with five blocks.
