Career, 2019-23 (49/33):
• One of the most complete pass rushers in program history
• Appeared in 49 games over his career with 33 starts
• Became the first CSU defensive player to earn FWAA All-America honors since Greg Myers (1994)
• Finished second in career sacks (30.5) and third in career tackles for loss (45.5)
• Began his CSU career as an outside linebacker before moving to defensive end full-time in 2022

5th Year, 2023 (12/11):
• Utilized his COVID year to return to Colorado State
• Posted one of the most productive seasons in school history by a defensive player
• Tallied 17.0 tackles for loss and 13.0 sacks as a part of a 56-tackle season
• 17 tackles for loss tied for 8th-most in a single season
• 13 sacks are the third-most in a single season
• Recorded 11 sacks in the first five games of the season, including back-to-back three-sack games against Utah Tech and at Utah State
• Forced a fumble and returned a fumble for a touchdown at Middle Tennessee

Senior, 2022 (12/12):
• Enjoyed a breakout year as a senior
• Recorded 44 tackles, 24 solo and 20 assisted
• Led the team with 8.5 sacks for 53 yards, ranking third in the Mountain West
• Added two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery
• Led the team with 16 TFLs, ranking second in the league at 1.33 per game
• Had a season-best seven stops and 4.0 TFLs at Nevada
• Had a season-best 2.0 sacks at San Jose State
 
Junior, 2021 (12/3):
• Started the season opener, then in two of the final three games
• Posted 9.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks
• Was 10th on the team with 36 tackles, 22 of them solo stops
• Had two quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and a pass breakup
• Matched a career-best with eight tackles vs. Air Force
• Set a career-best with 3.5 sacks at Toledo
 
Sophomore, 2020 (4/3):
• Started the final three games of the season
• Posted a career-best eight tackles in the win over Wyoming
• Had the first sack of his career in Week 1 at Fresno State, a 9-yard loss
• Had half a sack the following game in a win over Wyoming.
 
Freshman, 2019 (9/4):
• Made his first career appearance vs. Western Illinois
• First career start came vs. San Diego State
• Had a career-best six stops vs. San Diego State and vs. Air Force
• First tackle for loss came vs. San Diego State
• Turned his first fumble recovery into a 63-yard scoop-and-score vs. Air Force. It was the first fumble return for a touchdown by a Ram at Canvas Stadium
• Had 22 tackles on the season, half of them solo stops
• Registered 1.5 tackles for loss
• Earned 2019 Fall Academic All-Mountain West honors
 
Personal/High School
• Four-year letterwinner at linebacker for coach Julius Montford at Newark (N.J.) Central High
• Earned second team All-State from NJ.com as a senior, making 132 tackles, including 11 sacks, and forced six fumbles
• Senior year included five-sack game vs. Cedar Grove, and three touchdown receptions as a tight end, also helping to create lanes for a 1,400-yard rusher
• Central HS Defensive Player of the Year as a junior
• Made 21 tackles (7 solo) as a sophomore
• brother, Amara, played football for Temple (2007-10) and was a captain as a senior
• Originally signed with Temple in Dec., and had other offers from Rutgers and Boston College
