2009 (Freshman): Margaret began her first indoor season with a fourth-place finish in the mile run (5:45.94) at the Air Force Indoor All-Comers Meet (Jan. 16). She followed that up with a third-place finish in the 3,000-meters (11:04.85) at the Potts Invite (Jan. 23) and a first-place finish in the 3,000-meters (11:25.14) at the Air Force Collegiate Invitational (Feb. 13). Margaret scored once during the outdoor season with a sixth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run (19:12.41) at the Jack Christiansen Invitational (April 24).

High School: Margaret was a varsity letterwinner in three sports while at Los Alamos High School. She won all-state honors in cross country in 2006 and 2007. She was named cross country team captain from 2005-07, and track team captain in 2007.

Personal: Margaret was born Feb. 2, 1990, to Blake Wood and Rebecca Clark in Walnut Creek, Calif. She has two sisters, Jeanine and Heather, who ran cross country for Adams State College. She is majoring in anthropology.
