Matt Ah You (pronounced Eye You) came to Colorado State in February 2025Â after spending the past four seasons at Weber State coaching linebackers. Prior to Ogden, Ah You was at his alma mater as an analyst coaching safeties and linebackers. The BYU grad started his coaching career at Utah State as a defensive grad assistant before spending the 2017 season at Oregon State helping in the linebacker room.
Ah You played linebacker at BYU for three seasons, starting as a true freshman. He took his LDS Mission after his sophomore year before returning for his junior season in 2008. He transferred to Central Washington for his final season but suffered a season-ending foot injury in the opener. After being granted another year of eligibility, Ah You transferred to Utah State in 2010 where a nagging shoulder injury finished his career.
Prior to coaching he was a police officer for Los Angeles County sheriff's department and Santa Ana police department.
