Roosevelt Maggitt, Jr.

Roosevelt Maggitt was hired in February 2025 as the assistant outside linebackers coach before moving to the assistant defensive line coach on Jim Mora's initial staff in December 2025.
Prior to Fort Collins, he was the defensive line coach at Florida Atlantic for two seasons. Roosevelt served as an assistant director of player personnel at UTSA, for a team that posted an 11-2 regular season record and was undefeated in C-USA and captured leagues championship.
Maggitt participated in the Bill Walsh NFL Diversity Coaching Fellowship Program with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2022 and with the Minnesota Vikings in 2020, a program created to offer minority coaches more opportunities to learn, along with great exposure to job opportunities
Maggitt spent three seasons as West Georgia's defensive line coach and helped the Wolves advanced to the 2021 Division II NCAA playoff. He was also part of the Texas staff for two seasons, working as a quality control role with defensive.
Following a five-year playing career at Iowa State, Maggitt started his coaching career at North Dakota State before making stops at Blinn, Houston and Texas.
