As a senior in 2013 registered 84 total tackles, including 26 tackles for loss and six sacks, along with two interceptions.
Led the Wildcats to a 14-2 record and their second-consecutive 4A Region I District 5 championship and state title.
Named 2013 Texas Associated Press Sports Editors Class 4A All-Texas honorable mention.
As a junior in 2012, recorded a single-season career high 150 tackles, four fumble recoveries and one interception.
Helped his team to a 15-2 mark and a 48-37 victory over Georgetown in the 2012 Texas state championship.
