2008 (Senior)
The team[apos]s safety in its nickel defense to begin the year, saw action in all 12 games, with seven starts...Held together a secondary devastated by injury, battling through his own pain to help the Rams to bowl eligibility...Replaced both Klint Kubiak (ankle, knee) and SS Mike Pagnotta (shoulder) over the course of the season as those starters battled respective injuries...Finished fourth on the team with 86 tackles (64 solo), with 4½ for loss, with one interception, three more passes broken up, a fumble recovery and a forced fumble...In season opener vs. Colorado (Aug. 31), recovered a Demetrius Sumler fumble in CSU territory late in the first half...In tough loss vs. TCU (Oct. 11), made his first 2008 start, at free safety in place of an injured Klint Kubiak (ankle); hurried Frogs QB Marcus Jackson on a third-down attempt late in the game, forcing a punt with CSU trailing only 13-7 ...Again started for Kubiak at No. 14 Utah (Oct. 18), and recorded a game- and career-high 15 tackles (nine solo, one for loss), including a crushing blast that knocked RB Elijah Wesson 3 yards off his feet in the first quarter, and a nice play in which he shed a blocker to drop Brent Casteel for a 3-yard loss, helping to force an eventual second-quarter punt...In start at San Diego State (Oct. 25), sealed the Rams[apos] 38-34 victory by intercepting Ryan Lindley at the Rams[apos] 12-yard line with only 2:06 remaining...In tough, 45-42 loss vs. No. 17 BYU (Nov. 1), stood tall in a secondary decimated by injury, replacing SS Mike Pagnotta (shoulder) in the starting lineup; delivered a resounding blow on Harvey Unga on a third-and-1 early in the second quarter, driving the RB back 2 yards to force a punt and set up a go-ahead CSU touchdown on the ensuing drive...Later, in fourth quarter of Cougars contest, quickly diagnosed a BYU handoff to J.J. Diluigi and put his helmet on the football, forcing a fumble with his hit; Mychal Sisson recovered to set up another go-ahead CSU touchdown...Played basically on one leg in 31-20 triumph at Wyoming (Nov. 22), helping the Rams to bowl eligibility; shrugged aside an injured knee to post nine tackles (seven solo), including a third-down stop in the second half and an open-field tackle in the second quarter that likely prevented a touchdown...Also in Cowboys contest, broke up a pass on Wyoming[apos]s final drive...In final college game, the New Mexico Bowl triumph vs. Fresno State (Dec. 20), dropped Anthony Harding for a 3-yard loss in the fourth quarter; the play, with CSU trailing 28-26, led to an eventual punt and the Rams[apos] game-winning drive.

2007 (Junior)
Played in 10 games, starting four, and totaled 40 tackles (31 solo), five stops for loss, two sacks, one INT, four passes broken up and one forced fumble...Inspirational safety, had played in each of the first nine games until an ankle injury sidelined him for Games 10 and 11...Made an emergency start at Houston (Sept. 22), with Klint Kubiak sidelined, and turned in a career-best seven solo tackles (eight overall)...Made plays on three straight downs early in the fourth quarter vs. San Diego State (Oct. 6), dropping Kevin O[apos]Connell for his first career sack, then breaking up consecutive passes to force an Aztecs punt from the CSU 43-yard line...Sustained a slightly separated shoulder in a five-tackle effort (four solo), vs. Air Force (Oct. 13)...Still started the following week and helped the Rams to an emotional first win, at UNLV (Oct. 20), posting seven stops (five solo), including an early tackle for loss; recovered a conventional CSU kickoff that hit a wall of wind, giving the Rams possession at their 48-yard line, and appeared to force a first-quarter fumble, before replay review overturned the call...Picked off a Brian Johnson pass vs. Utah (Oct. 27), on the first play after CSU had thrown an interception, late in the first half...At BYU (Nov. 3), blasted QB Max Hall from behind on a second-quarter sack, forcing a fumble recovered by DT Matt Rupp...Did not play at New Mexico (Nov. 10) or vs. Georgia Southern (Nov. 17) due to ankle injury...Valiantly ignored pain to start season finale, vs. Wyoming (Nov. 23), in paper-thin secondary, and made five tackles (four solo).

2006 (Sophomore)
Saw playing time in all 12 games...Finished seventh on the team with 36 total tackles...Made his first career start at Air Force (Oct. 12) and started the next three games...Recorded a career-high 11 tackles (six solo) vs. BYU (Nov. 4)...Notched five total tackles and one tackle for loss vs. New Mexico (Oct. 28)...Had a team-leading nine total stops at Wyoming (Oct. 21)...Recorded four total tackles, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup vs. UNLV (Oct. 7)...Collected three total tackles and an interception at Fresno State (Sept. 30).
