Cody Swanson was hired in December of 2025 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach after spending the prior two seasons at Connecticut. He began with the Huskies in 2024 as an intern, then was elevated to an assistant’s role in 2025.
He spent the spring of 2024 working as an intern in the Mississippi strength and conditioning program.
Swanson graduated from Mississippi State in 2023 with a Bachelor of Education in kinesiology with an emphasis in clinical exercise physiology. He was an SEC Academic honor roll student-athlete for the Bulldogs while also completing a strength and conditioning and physical therapy internships.
