Colorado State University football coach Sonny Lubick today announced the signings of 23 student-athletes to national letters of intent.

Wednesday was the first day prospective student-athletes in the sport of football could sign the national letters to enroll at respective institutions.

"We're happy with how things turned out. I think we have a solid recruiting class. It is a group of players that we think can come in and have an impact on our program," said Lubick. "Our coaches did a tremendous job. They all worked very hard during the recruiting process."

Lubick said it is his staff's goal each year to sign student-athletes at each position.

"We feel like we filled some needs. What we try to do is sign a player at each position," he said.
