  • Saturday's captains were LB Deonte Clyburn, WR Joe Hansley, DL Joe Kawulok and TE Nolan Peralta.
  • Saturday marked the 10th time under offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin that the Rams eclipsed 500 yards of total offense. The Rams had one game of more than 500 total offensive yards in 2012, a school-record eight in 2013 and one so far in 2014.
  • Today was also the seventh game under Baldwin that the offense has scored more than 40 points. In those games, CSU is 7-0.
  • Colorado State won the toss and elected to receive. The Rams are 7-3 when winning the toss under Head Coach Jim McElwain.
  • Colorado State's 21 first-quarter points are the most in the opening quarter since Oct. 30, 2010 when the Rams hung 21 on New Mexico. CSU went on to win that contest 38-14.
  • This is the second consecutive week the Rams have blocked a kick. Last week defensive lineman Joe Kawulok blocked a PAT and this afternoon DB Trent Matthews got his hands on a 25-yard field goal attempt by UC Davis.
  • The Rams have a 12-1 record when leading at halftime under McElwain. CSU led 28-7 at half vs. UC Davis.
  • Saturday's 49 points against UC Davis are the most the Rams have scored on a current member of the FCS since defeating South Dakota State 52-20 on Nov. 6, 1965.
  • CSU's 452 passing yards are the most by the Rams in a single game. The previous high was 449 passing yards at Hawai'i in 1987. Furthermore, the Rams' 676 yards of total offense is the second-most in a single game by CSU. The Rams tallied a school-record 693 yards of total offense against Tennessee-Chattanooga in 1996.
  • This season, the Rams are averaging 512.7 yards of total offense per game.
  • The Rams racked up 10.1 yards per play on Saturday afternoon, the second-most all-time at Colorado State. The record, 11.6 yards per play, was set in 1996 vs. Tennessee-Chattanooga.
  • Senior QB Garrett Grayson completed 22-of-31 passes for 425 yards and four touchdowns. Grayson now has 40 career touchdown passes, a mark that is tied for the third-most in school history with Terry Nugent (1980-83). His 6,177 career passing yards are the seventh-most in school history.
  • Saturday was Grayson's eighth 300-yard passing game, and second 400-yard passing game, of his career. Grayson has now tied the CSU record for most 300-yard passing games in a career, matching Terry Nugent.
  • Grayson is only the ninth CSU QB to throw at least four touchdowns in a single game. The four passing touchdowns ties for the fourth-most in a single game. The last CSU QB to throw for at least four touchdowns in a single game was Grant Stucker at Idaho on Oct. 3, 2009.
  • Grayson racked up 431 yards of total offense vs. UC Davis, the second-most total offensive yards in a single game. Grayson, who now has 6,509 yards of total offense, owns the top-4 spots on CSU's single-game total offense yards list. His 6,509 total offensive yards are the sixth-most all-time at Colorado State.
  • Grayson is the first CSU QB to throw for 400 yards in back-to-back games since Terry Nugent in 1983. Nugent threw 434 yards against New Mexico on Oct. 29 and then 418 vs. Northern Colorado on Nov. 5.
  • In his last two games, Grayson is 53-for-89 (59.6) for 859 yards and seven touchdowns. The 859 passing yards are the most by a CSU quarterback in consecutive games.
  • On third downs this season, Grayson has completed 18-of-28 passes (64.3) for 214 yards. This yardage represents 22-percent of Grayson's season total.
  • After connecting on all seven PATs during Saturday's contest, senior kicker Jared Roberts extended his school record making 77 consecutive PATs.
  • Senior WR Charles Lovett hauled in a 45-yard receiving touchdown, which gives him a catch in 24-consecutive games in which he has played. This streak dates back to Nov. 19, 2011 at TCU.
  • Sophomore WR Rashard Higgins had seven receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns. That puts him over the 1,000-yard receiving mark in just 17 games. Higgins has 1,143 yards on 87 receptions.
  • In the past two games, Higgins has recorded 18 receptions for 290 yards and two touchdowns.
  • Redshirt-freshman Elroy Masters Jr., registered his first career catch in the 3rd quarter when he hauled in a 10-yard reception. Masters Jr. proceeded to make a name for himself as he finished with five receptions for 112 yards, including a 69-yard catch and run that set up a CSU touchdown.
