BOISE, Idaho -
The Colorado State Rams' bowl trip began Sunday morning, as they landed in Boise, Idaho, to prepare for Thursday's Famous Idaho Potato Bowl vs. the Idaho Vandals. The team touched down around noon and headed straight to Boise State's indoor practice facility for its ninth bowl practice and first in Boise.

"The way we practice is the way we prepare," Head Coach Mike Bobo said to the media following practice. "That's the mindset we have on this trip. We had a little adversity on the first day, but I thought our guys handled it well and we were able to get some good work done today mentally."

Following the short practice, the Rams were transported to their hotel where they were greeted by hotel staff and guests with a green and gold archway and the CSU fight song echoing through the hotel halls. After lunch and free time, players and staff had time in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl Gift Suite, where they picked from a collection of gifts - including watches, sunglasses, speakers, and a television - as celebration of their acceptance into the bowl.
The night ended with a team welcome dinner put on by the Potato Bowl. At the dinner, junior offensive lineman Zack Golditch was selected as CSU's Humanitarian Award recipient, an honor which is given to a player from each team that has distinguished himself in the community and off the field.

The Rams will be back on the practice field Monday afternoon. Following practice, players from both CSU and Idaho will participate in a bowling for charity event at a local bowling alley. Follow @CSUFootball on Twitter for more updates throughout the day.

Postseason Honors: The National Football Foundation Colorado Chapter this week named its All-Colorado football teams, featuring senior punter Hayden Hunt as the chapter's Special Teams Player of the Year for the second year in a row. In addition to Hunt, LB Kevin Davis and OL Fred Zerblis were named to the first team, while OL Jake Bennett earned second-team honors.

Mountain West Bowls: The Mountain West conference jumped out to a 2-0 start in this year's bowl season, with San Diego State and New Mexico picking up big wins in the Las Vegas Bowl and Gildan New Mexico Bowl, respectively. The Rams have wins against both New Mexico and San Diego State on the season, as well as a win over the UTSA Roadrunners - New Mexico's opponent.
