The University's PPT issued the statement on Wednesday.

Colorado State University's Pandemic Preparedness Team issued the following statement regarding fan attendance at Athletics events for the remainder of the spring semester. The statement was issued in response to a petition from the athletic department to allow a limited number of fans to events.

With the health of our community as our paramount responsibility, Colorado State University's Pandemic Preparedness Team will continue to keep Athletics sports closed to spectators for the Spring semester. This decision is consistent with other COVId-19 restrictions across the university community, such as the cancelation of all events through the semester and the restriction of visitors on university grounds.

Specifically, this impacts men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, soccer, softball, track and field, tennis and volleyball.

The Department of Athletics has diligently worked with the county and Pandemic Preparedness Team to create and follow extensive precautions, including regular testing and rapid contact tracing in the event of a positive result.
