Colorado State Announces 2022 Soccer Schedule

The Rams begin the season with an exhibition against Northern Colorado on August 12.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – A preseason exhibition against regional foe Northern Colorado and home matches against Denver and Wyoming highlight the 2022 Colorado State Soccer schedule, announced by second-year head coach Keeley Hagen on Monday.

"We're excited to continue to build on the progress we made last season and carry that standard we set into a new campaign," Hagen said. "This schedule will test our team early and have us prepared for conference play at the end of September. We are looking forward to the challenge each match-up will present and to see how our players respond."

In their first year under Hagen's leadership, which began with a truncated offseason program brought on by a COVID-19 induced spring schedule during what would have been the 2020 season, Colorado State won a school-record five consecutive Mountain West games and reached the conference tournament for just the second time in the program's history.

A new facility, expected to be ready for the 2023 campaign, is also in the works.

After the exhibition against Northern Colorado at home on Aug. 12 (1 p.m.), the Rams begin a three-game road swing through Utah (Dixie State, Aug. 18; Utah, Aug. 21) and South Dakota (Aug. 25) before their home regular season opener against Southeast Missouri on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m.

The opener has also been designated as the annual State Pride game.

Ag Day is set for the follow-up game on Thursday, Sept. 8 when the Rams host Montana at 3 p.m.
