Fall Sports’ Coach’s Shows Set to Begin August 22nd

Cocktails with Coach Kohan and Jay Norvell’s Coach’s Show announce fall dates
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – With Colorado State's fall sports ready to kickoff the 2023 season, head coaches Jay Norvell and Emily Kohan both announce their respective coach's show schedules.
The second season of the Jay Novell Coach's Show is slated to begin Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m. from C.B. & Potts at Collindale. The hour-long radio show, presented by Coors Light and High Country Beverage, will feature the "Voice of the Rams" Brian Roth and Norvell previewing the upcoming week, reviewing that week that was and welcoming special guests throughout the show.
Norvell invites fans to join him in person for the radio show where all fans in attendance during the show will be entered into the weekly drawing to win fun giveaways throughout the night. The show will run consistently on Wednesday nights throughout the football season. Fans can also listen to the show live on 99.1 FM in Fort Collins, ESPN 1600 in Denver or via the Varsity Network app, available for download through the App Store or Google Play store for free, worldwide.
The inaugural year of Cocktails with Coach Kohan will also take place this fall beginning Tuesday, August 22 at the Penrose Taphouse and Eatery. Head volleyball Coach Emily Kohan invites fans to her weekly happy hour from 5-6 p.m., each Tuesday or Monday of the season – depending on the volleyball schedule.
Similarly, the hour-long get-together features a review of the week prior, a preview of the week ahead and questions from fans. Each week, Kohan will also bring a player guest with her. The Penrose Taphouse and Eatery is located at 216 N College Avenue in Fort Collins. Food and drink specials will be available.
The Colorado State volleyball team will begin its season August 25 against the Kentucky Wildcats in Moby Arena followed by the Colorado State football team kicking off its season against the Washington State Cougars September 2 at Canvas Stadium.
