Johnson Named to Doak Walker Award Watch List

The award recognizes the nation's top running back
FORT COLLINS - Colorado State running back Kobe Johnson has been named to the Doak Walker watch list ahead of the 2023 season, the PwC SMU Athletic Forum announced on Wednesday.
Johnson is a transfer from North Dakota State where he amassed over 2,500 yards in his four years with the Bison. He also scored 18 touchdowns while in Fargo, N.D., including an average of 6.7 yards per touch.
The Lawrenceville, Ga., native also recorded eight games with more than 100 yards rushing, including a 206 yard game against Montana during the 2022 campaign.

Ram fans can start to fill in their calendars, book their hotels, and secure their tailgating spots for the entirety of the 2023 season as five of the six home games - all of which will be played on Saturdays this fall - have been announced along with the Rocky Mountain Showdown. The home opener against Washington State, set for Saturday, Sept. 2, will kick off at 5 p.m. The Boise State game, slated for Homecoming and Family Weekend, received a 12-day out designation from Fox Sports which means the kick time for that game will be determined 12-days prior to kick off on Monday, Oct. 2.
