Colorado State continues conference play with a three-game series at Utah State
FORT COLLINS – The Colorado State softball team (20-15, 3-7 MW) is set to face off against the Utah State Aggies (21-18, 5-8) in a thrilling three-game series slated for this Friday through Sunday in Logan, Utah, marking the fifth week of conference play.Â

- Senior pitcher Danielle Serna earned Mountain West Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete game shutout with three strikeouts, only throwing a total of 55 pitches to get 15 outs for the rams run-rule win. At the plate, Serna currently ranks third in the conference with 12 doubles and fifth with three triples. Additionally, she leads the conference, tied for fourth in the nation, with 18 hit by pitches.Â
- Senior Ashley York had major contributions to the team's successful weekend with a home run in the first game and five RBIÂ overall, going 2-4 on the weekend.Â
- Senior Peyton Allen made significant contributions with three hits and six RBI, including a three-run home run in the second game against the Lobos, achieving an impressive .600 batting average over the weekend.Â
- Freshman Jailey Wilson also played a crucial role in the Rams' successful weekend, going three for four with a two-RBI double and a two-run home run.Â
