CSU Athletics Announces the Ram Good Time Weekend

Additional key initiatives to celebrate Colorado State Athletics are also planned
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The fan-favorite Ram Good Time Auction will return this fall in a new format, combining with the Hall of Fame Induction Banquet and additional student-athlete recognition in the form of the newly-created Ram Good Time Weekend set for Friday, Oct. 11 and Saturday, Oct. 12, athletic director John Weber announced on Wednesday.

"The Ram Good Time Auction has historically been an incredibly memorable evening for Ram fans to come together and celebrate Colorado State," Weber said. "Now, with the creation of the Ram Good Time Weekend, we will be able to bring the auction back while also creating a format and platform that allows us to recognize and induct our Hall of Fame athletes on an annual basis. The auction's return will provide for additional fundraising opportunities, and we will do so while honoring our former student-athletes and celebrating our current student-athletes."

The Ram Good Time Weekend will encompass multiple pillars including:

The Hall of Fame, which began in 1988, inducted new members annually from 1988-2013 and bi-annually from 2015-2023 returns to its annual induction schedule starting in 2024. The Hall of Fame committee will select and announce this year's class later this summer.

Additionally, the department and the Hall of Fame committee have amended the guidelines and protocols for honoring jerseys (football) and retiring numbers (all other team sports) and will begin regular deliberations on those potential honorees this summer.

The additional recognitions are aimed at high-achieving student-athletes that can be applied immediately upon the completion of their eligibility. Concepts include recognizing student-athletes who have been named conference players of the year, honored with a departmental annual award, reached All-American status, and other difficult yet notable achievements. Additional information on this program will be shared at a later date.

- Registration will begin in June
- Ram Good Time Bash for Ram Legends – Saturday, Oct. 12, pre-game
- Invitations will be sent in June
- Ram Good Time Game – Saturday, Oct. 12 vs. San Jose State
- Hall of Fame honorees will be recognized.
