Game 1 | Colorado State – 12, Kansas City – 4 (5 Innings)
- The Rams earned their first run-rule win over the Roos of Kansas City thanks to getting runners on base through disciplined at-bats and taking advantage of some Kansas City pitching woes. Seeing four Kansas City pitchers throughout the games, with half of Colorado State's runs coming off walks, HBP's and wild pitches.
- Freshman Autumn Rutherford led the Rams offensively, going 3-4 at the plate, while also notching her first career home run in the second inning, hitting a solo shot to centerfield.
- Brooke Bohlender continued a great start to her senior campaign going 2-2 with a single, triple, walk and HBP.
- Sophomore pitcher Reagan Wick picked up her second win of the season in the circle going five innings, allowing three earned runs with three strikeouts.
Game 2 | UC Santa Barbara – 10, Colorado State – 2 (6 Innings)
- The Rams felt the pressure of the UC Santa Barbara long ball in game two, giving up three home runs, accounting for all but four of the Gauchos' runs.
- Offensively for the Rams, Morgan Coleman notched both RBI with a double in the second inning, finishing game two going 1-3.
- Defensively, Rutherford continued her strong day with three putouts in centerfield and a hit at the plate.
- Freshman pitcher Karlie Cooledge made her Colorado State debut in the circle, coming in relief of Giselle Bentley.
