Kashif Moore
Kashif Moore joined Jim Mora’s staff in December of 2025 as a pass game specialist / wide receivers coach having spent the three previous years at Connecticut.

Moore’s three years in Storrs was highlighted by the development of Skyler Bell, who developed into a 2025 Biletnikoff Award finalist after finishing second in the country with 101 receptions, good for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2024, a pair of UConn wideouts pulled down 50-plus passes under Moore’s guidance. TJ Sheffield caught 54 passes for 505 yards while Skyler Bell grabbed 54 balls for 860 yards and 5 TDs to lead the team. Sheffield went on to sign a rookie contract with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans after the season.

A former UConn player, Moore joined his alma mater after spending the 2022 season at Albany as the wide receivers coach.

After completing his career at UConn, he began his coaching career at Conard High School under his former position coach at UConn, Matt Cersosimo, spending the 2019-20 seasons at the prep ranks. He would have one-year stops at Wesleyan University (2020) and Cornell University (2021) as the running backs coach.

A four-year letterwinner at UConn from 2008-11, Moore was elected team captain as a senior and graduated ranked in the top 10 in program history in receptions (126) while registering 1,699 career yards and 13 touchdowns. He competed in three postseason games, including catching four passes for 62 yards against Oklahoma in the 2011 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl - the program's first-ever BCS Bowl game. He was invited to the 2011 NFL Combine and later signed contracts with Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Kansas City.
