Ray Clark
Ray Clark was hired to be the assistant wide receivers coach in January of 2026, a change of pace for him in his first year at Colorado State.
 
Clark, a former standout defensive back for the University of San Diego, has spent the majority of his career working with the defensive side of the ball, primarily in the secondar. He comes to the Rams after spending one season as Arizona State’s assistant defensive line coach.
 
He spent 2024 on staff at Utah Tech as the defensive backs coach, a role he held at Notre Dame College in the spring of 2022 and in his first foray into coaching from 2018-19 at Montana State-Northern. He was Idaho’s nickels coach in 2021.
 
He has also worked at Stanford as a defensive line quality control coach and worked with outside linebacker at his alma mater from 2020-21. He held graduate assistant roles at Arizona State (2022-23), Idaho (2019-20) and Augustana (2019 spring). He spent the fall of 2022 at Washington State working in the recruiting department.
